General Information:

Its purpose is to provide initial knowledge focusing on the NATO MP/Gendarmerie international co-operation in order to develop a common understanding of the differences in capabilities and culture of nations, thus enhancing MP interoperability in NATO-led operations.

The course will provide students with an introductory level of knowledge on the NATO MP operations in order to evolve a collective appreciation of the differing capabilities of various nations, and to show how to best integrate them in support of multinational operations within the wider context of NATO and international community with the main focus on advising command on NATO MP Doctrine, as well as mission planning.

The seat capacity is limited to max. 24 students who are assumed to be primarily NATO and Partner countries MP/Gendarmerie-type forces junior officers (OF-1 and OF-2), possessing academic background, assigned to MP or MP-related positions at the NATO HQ or comparable positions in NATO member countries, as well as civilian police officers acting in multinational environment.
The rule “FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED” applies.
